Majlis Ramah-Tamah aidil-fitri at Energize Workout & Fitness Centre on 22/09/10

Yesterday, our Muslim friends ( Ju, Su, & few others, couldn’t get their names) were kind enough to give us a treat right after our Cardio-class which ended at 7.30pm. Prior to that, Instructor Ms Mutia led us with her vigorous & heart-pounding steps/movements; it was totally cardio and no dance..Very intense and heavy workout. WE only break for 2 minutes and then we continued for the 2nd half. Usually, she would combine cardio and dance workout, so yesterday we didn’t get the chance to dance our favourite number: “Bebeh”- dangdut aka poco-poco step…simple step yet nice & sexy too! “Hip-hop”- Don’t Cha by Pussy Cat Doll and not to forget Zumba dance led by Ju, very sexy lady! Belly-dancing is usually led by Fairuz, Poco-Poco by Lina Juntan. That’s why I never want to miss my cardio and dance workout because of these attractions & freebies!
Yes, instructor Mutia had every reason to make us really sweat out as we need to burn more calories to give way for the “incoming calories intake” as we will be feasting on the varieties of dishes nicely spread on the table: Dish comprised of 1. Rendang Ayam, 2. Korma Chicken, 3. Fried Bee-Hon, 4. Fried Sausage 5. White Rice 6. Lemang 7. Dragon-fruit 8. Assorted & delicious cake lapis and biscuits... All yummy! Yummy!
When come to food, no one would resist including myself. I would not miss a chance especially when it comes to my favourite dishes/cakes. Everyone enjoyed the food, and good thing, the food was enough for everybody to share even there was some leftovers.
While enjoying our meals, we also had entertainment, the sound of ‘Gendang’ made few others rise up and dance to the beat of the Gendang. I too, enjoyed myself trying to show my dance skill-joget as well. The others were just laughing away as they watched us with our funny movements. .It was so much fun especially after the heavy workout, we get to relax and chat and unwind….
Here are some pictures taken last night using my handphone. Although not clear but at least something to share and remember.
Thank you so much to our Muslim friends for their generosity to share with us their Hari Raya joy. May Allah bless us all.
